A successful partnership can be not only economically but also socially valuable – as demonstrated by the collaboration between the Ossenberg Group and the workshops of the Haus Hall Foundation. Together, they are launching a gripping aid that makes daily life easier for senior citizens and people with limited mobility.
The Haus Hall workshops, a renowned facility for people with disabilities in the Münsterland region, are not just a production facility, but a place where inclusion is actively practiced. People with disabilities can bring their strengths to their everyday work here and try out different tasks. The fact that their work is meaningful is also demonstrated by the cooperation with the Ossenberg Group. For some time now, employees in the workshops have been assembling the gripping aid – an indispensable everyday aid for many people.
The practical GripStar gripping aid
The product is a useful everyday aid that makes it easy to pick up objects – ideal for people who cannot bend easily or are otherwise restricted in their reach. Ossenberg only supplies the individual parts, which are assembled ready for dispatch by local employees with craftsmanship, patience and great commitment – including a final quality check.
The cooperation with Ossenberg not only offers the employees at Werkstätten Haus Hall a valuable task, but also clear feedback on the high quality of their work – an important element in strengthening their self-confidence. Tobias Niedermeyer is certainly very satisfied. He is in charge of the project on the Ossenberg side and explains: “It’s a pleasure to hold the finished products in our hands, knowing that they have been created in collaboration with people who see a very special value in their work – and do an excellent job.”
Cooperation with Haus Hall to be expanded
The aim now is to work together on further, more complex assembly tasks. The contacts at the Haus Hall workshops are providing Ossenberg with excellent support. They know exactly the strengths and the right pace of their employees and have already made an Ossenberg project a success in the past with their knowledge and experience. Haus Hall sales employee Tobias Kappelhoff emphasizes: “For some time now, the staff in our workshop have been cutting tubes for walking aids and canes from Ossenberg to the required dimensions. The gripping aid is therefore the second successful project that we have been able to realize for the group of companies. We are now looking forward to deepening our collaboration!”
And thus the collaboration between Ossenberg and Haus Hall benefits everyone involved: Ossenberg receives a high-quality assembly, the workshops at Haus Hall create meaningful jobs, and the users of the gripping aid can rely on a product that is manufactured with social responsibility and a lot of heart. This is wonderful proof that economic partnerships can also have a social component – and that true inclusion begins where people work together with mutual appreciation.
